Christina Aguilera’s Pink Palace for Sale
The Pink Palace is for sale. Not the one in Monaco but rather the one owned by Christina Aguilera. The singer has put her massive mansion on the market for a whopping $13.5 million. That’s two million more than what she originally paid for it. Christina Aguilera’s house is not something you want to miss looking at.
The house which is located in Los Angeles is a Mediterranean style mansion with so much personality that it defies belief. Inspiration for the interior seems to have come from Aguilera’s stint in Moulin Rouge. The beautiful chandeliers and heavy drapes in most rooms add to the extremely burlesque type decor.
The dramatic side-sweeping foyer staircase is lined with heavy red carpeting which stands out quite readily against the stark whiteness of the stairs. The walls seem to have a combination of art deco and art nouveau to them with the pink paint standing out from the concrete bordered wall carvings while the lipstick red chandelier in the foyer is a heavy piece of eye candy for visitors to the house.
Each room in Christina’s house has a different theme and a variation of colours that make one feel like they’re stepping into a different era as they enter and exit each room. The kitchen area is primarily black and white and contrasting patterns on rugs and lamp shades make the room look very busy; like a kitchen should look.
The house has six bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a guest house, all of which have been treated to their very own themes and decadent decor. Four poster beds in the rooms with netting and heavy drapery compliment the burlesque theme while the plush white fluffy rugs make barefoot walking simply delicious.
Christina and her ex-husband are parents to little Max Bratman who was the occupant of the coolest nursery in the world. Christina apparently took the huge moon from one of her concerts and claimed it for her son’s bedroom. The nursery is a kid’s wonderland of fantasy and fantastical fun with its many colours and kiddie themes.
The back garden of this amazing house that Christina Aguilera has decided to part ways with is reminiscent of a bohemian poolside party. The cushy spot is made up of a gazebo filled with comfortable pillows black woven poolside furniture. The gazebo overlooks a pool which sits right next to wonderfully lush greenery that gives one the feeling of sitting somewhere in a jungle.
Everything about Christina Aguilera’s house that she bought with Jordon Bratman, when they were still married, is comfortable and opulent. It’s a crying shame we don’t have $13.5 million pocket change to offer her.
